High Mountain & Aconcagua
A journey along the Andes to the foot of Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas at 6,962 m.

Our mountain range is the crown jewel of the province, and Aconcagua its summit. The drive west climbs through dramatic Andean scenery shaped by the rivers and snowmelt that gave Mendoza its life.
Along the way we trace the history of General José de San Martín, whose Army of the Andes crossed these passes in 1817 to help liberate Chile and Peru.
